Documentation and information The Agricultural Policies and Bioeconomy (CREA-PB) provides an abbreviated version of the Annuario dell'agricoltura italiana ("Italian Agriculture"), a yearly publication that highlights the economic development of the Italian agro-food system. The English version offers detailed information on trend, problems and prospects of the primary sector and agro-food system in Italy. The English version of the Yearbook is based on the same structure of the Italian version. The volume is structured into five chapters, each of which summarises the main contents of the corresponding five sections of the Italian version: The Italian Agro-food System Factors of production in agriculture Agricultural policy Agriculture, environment and multi-functionality Agricultural, fishing and forestry production The statistical tables presented for each chapter have been selected from the more than 250 tables in the Italian version, giving priority to those documenting newly available information and facts of particular interest for the year in question.
